James Scott is a solo fingerstyle steel-string guitarist, composer, songwriter, and instructor. His music reflects his love for Windham Hill Records innovation in solo fingerstyle composition, his love for Bluegrass icon Tony Rice’s rhythmic cross-picking, and the authenticity of John Hartford’s songwriting. A student of Nashville-based jazz-fusion-classical guitarist Stan Lassiter, James will be in Logan, Utah for a concert the night of June 6, 2015 and is also offering a special opportunity to enhance your guitar skills.
